PEGASUS OPTICS Primary mirrors are 1.6" or 2" thick, as indicated on the price list above. They are precision-annealed and blanchard ground on the back surface. Standard focal length is as shown on the price list +/-1.5%. Coatings: MaxR Enhanced IAD Coatings are >95% average reflectance and include SiO2 (Quartz) overcoat. See Spectrum-Coatings.com for more info. If you prefer a non-enhanced coating, we will supply a protected-aluminum with quartz overcoated IAD mirror, approx. 91% reflectance, with reduction in price, as follow: 14.5-18" - $100; 20 - 24" - $150.
Diagonals: Presently we only carry 2.6" diagonals, which are $195 each. These are average throughput 95% broad-band enhanced with multi-layer overcoat and suitable for 14.5" F/4.3. There is a limited quantity available. These diagonals are rated better than 1/10th wave and their figure quality is individually supported by Mark IV interferogram. We believe there are no better or more precise diagonals available, regardless of wave error quality claims that are advertised as higher.
Delivery time: Delivery time is about 6 weeks for 14.5", 16", and 18" mirrors, 22" and 24" blanks about 3-4 months. Delivery times are subject to fluctuation based on demand and our internal backlog, blank supplies on hand, as well as when your order is received (see below).
Down payment. Delivery time estimates are based on date of down payment receipt. If you wish to assure that your order is delivered as soon as possible and is high in the production queue, we recommend you send down payment at your earliest convenience. If you are concerned about delivery time, please let us know and we will work with you as far as possible to minimize delay.
